D-I-Y : Scrapbook

Helped a friend of mine, Dita to made a scrapbook for her beloved one....

Fyi, this scrapbook was wholly made by ourselves from recycled paper. We aren't used templates which on scrapbooking store :)
You will need :
- Textured papers
- Thick-recycled paper (this is for the cover, you can easily find it on bookstore. Or you may switch to another thick paper)
- 80gr A4 papers
- Rings (buy it on scrapbooking store)
- Edge-cover (also able to buy on scrapbooking store)
- Coloured markers
- Mounting tape
- Double-tape
- Glue
- Recycled leaves, paper, jute, and so on. Untuk pernak-pernik penghias, it's depend on yours :)
And here are the procedures !
For the front & back cover:
First you have to decide the shape and size...for example, I chose A5 size.
Cut the Thick-recycled paper into A5 size. Note that you have to add at least 1,5 cm longer for the cover. Cut the Textured papers as well. Textured papers is used to wrap up the Thick-recycled paper so don't cut it in A5 size but bigger.
Done with cutting, move to wrapping. Neatly wrap the A5 thick-recycled paper with textured paper using double-tape so that it'll stick strongly.
*p.s : the Thick-recycled paper is really thick and hard to cut. You can go to the nearest Printing Shop, and ask to cut it with cutting machine :)

For the content sheets :
Divide into two the 80gr A4 papers so that we can get A5 size. We made up to 20 sheets, you can add it more depends on your needs.
Just like the cover, wrap this also with textured paper. We need various textured papers so dont just buy several kinds of textures! The more the better, and more colourful too!
You have to be very careful when wrapping, so that your scrapbook will looks neat and perfect :)

Yeay! Done with covers and sheets, it's time to fill it up!
You can put many things, not only photos. A cinema ticket or receipt of something that memorable, for example.
And the last part, Decorating! I love this part. Putting ornaments is fun! For this part, be creative as much as you can. The more creative you are, the great your scrapbook will be =))

Happy trying!
